Exterior: I worked on Monticello in the 80's and early 90's. I made the dome room windows in 1982. They were exact replicas of the originals that had been replaced in the 50's. I made the front doors in 1985 and half a million or more people have walked through them every year since. They are narrow but almost 10 feet tall and have lasted quite well. I participated in the building of the railing and skylights in1991 when the roof underwent a major restoration.
