  • Independent Craftsman, Earlysville, Virginia. Designing and building contemporary furniture. 1992-present.
  • President, Gaston & Wyatt, Inc., Charlottesville, Virginia. Preeminent Virginia firm in the field of architectural woodworking and custom furniture. Clients throughout the United States included projects at Monticello, Montpelier, Ash Lawn, and University of Virginia Rotunda, as well as private homes and businesses. 1979-1992.
  • Gaston Woodworking Company, specializing in contemporary furniture. 1978-1979.
  • Shelter Associates, constructing custom homes. 1975-1978.
